When Josh Lasky was in his early twenties he saw his father succumb to the ravages of Parkinson’s disease. He became one of his father’s main caregivers, discovering why carers are the unsung heroes of our time.
As Josh entered adulthood, he had to grapple with the realisation that is father was human, and flawed. Through Josh's eleven years of experience as a caregiver he relates his journey from bitterness to gratitude, learning the value of time and the power of endurance sports.
