On a very special Flix & Picks, Brayan Mendoza and his friend Dakota High pay tribute to adult animation on television. They talk about the general history of the genre as it started with The Flintstones. Among the topics in the first half would include discussing groundbreakers like The Simpsons, and its contemporaries like Beavis and Butthead, Daria, Futurama, Family Guy and King of the Hill. Other programs mentioned in the program include Rick and Morty, Big Mouth and American Dad. In the second half, they talk about the problems that have plagued the genre including longevity issues, jumping the shark, and cancellations. Finally, they end the show discussing their own personal list of favorites. They don't exactly agree but hey! Its part of the fun.
