In this touching episode of the Atlanta Tennis Podcast, powered by GoTennis, hear Polly's story of how tennis helped her overcome her initial loneliness and turned it into a positive feeling for the Atlanta community. Hear how this city newbie went from player to team captainโthe powerful use of sports in building lasting relationships.
When Polly first moved to Atlanta, she barely knew anyone. Then she joined her husband at a local tennis match, and everything changed. Starting right from the beginners' level, Polly took to the game, joining the beginner teams, and soon found herself part of the most encouraging and pulsating tennis community ever. Twelve years later, she is captaining teams, playing in tournaments, and just joined a pickleball league!
