Most people don’t talk about boundaries. For some, it’s because we don’t have the language, but for most of us it’s because we aren’t aware of our boundaries until someone crosses them.  And yet, being able to articulate what’s important to us, and what is ok and what isn’t, makes us feel more confident and in control of our life. 

 

In this episode Juliet and Kristy-Lee discuss the different types of boundaries and the challenges of articulating these. Whilst we rarely refer to boundaries, as a leader it is important to be able to talk with our teams about what team members think is acceptable behaviour and what isn’t.  This is difficult to do if we aren’t able to talk about where some of our own boundaries lie and Juliet and Kristy-Lee discuss strategies to help you have these conversations within your teams.
