Juls is a singer/songwriter dreaming up musical landscapes colored with hues of summer love, ocean blues, and a fluorescent youth. Juls hopes to transport listeners far beyond the humdrum routine of everyday life; her soundscapes are laced with a melodic ethereality and lyrical complexity that make it easy for listeners to get lost in her musical dreamland.
Part of what separates Juls as an artist is her unique commitment to detailed lyricism. First and foremost Juls is a songwriter, and she writes her own music. She cites writing her best songs in her bedroom with the help of her willing accomplice, “Lil bb” (...her acoustic guitar.)
Juls is a solo artist, but she is far from a one-woman show. Her sister Jacqueline, “Jacqs,” is her manager, or as the two prefer, “Sisager.” The pair commonly refer to themselves as “Jacqs and Juls.”
Juls envisioned a new, cutting-edge sound for her music, and the pair decided to move to Los Angeles in 2021 to connect with other visionaries who could help bring her ideas to life. With time, dedication, and a few lucky breaks, they turned these ideas into the music you can now listen to on this streaming platform.
