Description

Linda Lang supports health professionals by teaching them sustainable yoga practices.

Compassionate caregivers deserve care too.

Following an 8-year career at the George Washington University Center for Integrative Medicine, Linda serves the medical community as a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the GWU-SMHS. During COVID-19, she’s provided virtual support to  GWU medical staff through Zoom interactions, specifically the Department of OB-GYN. She supports physicians through social media, “Docs Who Yoga,” on Facebook.

A certified yoga therapist known for her innovative, intraprofessional, and creative contributions to the field of therapeutic yoga, she serves on the Advisory Board of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

In 2016, her work on physician wellness, resiliency, and leadership appeared in the International Anesthesiology Clinics journal on Faculty Development. This premier publication, in collaboration with Gail Randel, MD, is a chapter on Building and Maintaining Resilience.

Linda continues to teach 1:1 yoga therapy sessions in small groups, leads retreats, and partners with physical therapists to bring the very best of yogic practices into people’s lives.
