He co-founded the Starlight Children’s Foundation with Steven Spielberg, launched Starbright World, the first avatar-based social network for seriously ill teens, and founded First Star, which supports foster youth through high school academies on college campuses. As CEO of PhilmCo Media, he produces films that use empathy to drive social change.
