Psalm 68:5-6
English Standard Version: Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. God settles the solitary in a home.
New Living Translation: Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—this is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.
New International Version:A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Reflect
Take time to reflect on personal childhood experiences and their impact on relationships with family members.
Engage
Engage in conversations with friends or family members about the importance of understanding and supporting individuals who have experienced trauma in their early years.
Pray
Engage in intentional prayer throughout the week, focusing on specific prayer points provided in the episode. This includes praying for healing and restoration in fractured family relationships, wisdom and compassion to support individuals who have faced childhood trauma, and personal transformation to develop deeper empathy and understanding towards those who have faced challenges in their early years.
