Description

In this episode, you are invited into a spacious gratitude practice that unfolds in expanding circles.

You begin by settling into your posture and noticing the natural rhythm of your breath. From there, you gently shift into the role of an observer, noticing your thoughts as they come and go. The meditation then guides you into a visualization: you place yourself in an open, natural setting, standing at the center of a wide, clear space.

From this center, you begin with gratitude for what is closest to you: the land on which you sit, and the beings in your inner circle. As you continue, your circle expands to include community, nature, and those you meet in passing. You’re invited to notice what it feels like to be both held by these circles and to hold space for them in return.

This practice was recorded during a live Journey You Own Meditation Gathering, so you may notice natural pauses and a subtle sense of shared practice throughout.
