Samantha DeGrasse is mom to Jaden - 18 and Sophia - 14, two fur babies and two horses. An animal lover for sure, and a huge elephant and horse rescue advocate. Mental health, social justice and education are also some of her passions. Her involvements include being part of the Arts Council of Williamson County, Black Expo for the African American Heritage Society, NAMI Williamson County, and Battleground Academy Arts Council. She has appeared in numerous podcasts and speaking engagements over the last few years. She started "build her a bridge" in 2018, a 501(c)3 organization for tweens, teens and young adults struggling with mental health and other issues in a real and authentic way. She stays busy running her nonprofit, hosting virtual gatherings, community impact projects, hosting life skills classes for teen girls in the juvenile justice system, producing a new television show, a documentary and more! You can find her in meetings at any local coffee shop.
