Biography
In 2013, Ian Westmoreland experienced a life-changing moment that led to a decision to retire from paid work in May 2014 and commence a volunteer mentoring career. After experiencing a life challenge, he searched for an organisation that provided free, long-term one-to-one "life" mentoring services to Australian men. After finding none, he created "Mentoring Men". This podcast initiative, "Kintsugi Heroes", was created afterwards with the purpose of "uncovering our hidden value" and providing uplifting and inspirational content to people experiencing or at risk of experiencing significant life challenges.
Kathleen Langmore has largely stayed out of the limelight but shares a strong and enlightening career in the IT industry as a Project Manager, Editor, Technical Writer and Trainer. Through a serendipitous meeting with Ian, and soon becoming a colleague, Kathleen is well-travelled after living across the world and is always seeking to be active and getting the most out of life.
