#291: Men are Like Garbage Disposals and women are like Wind Chimes. A quality three quarter horsepower garbage disposal can process just about anything you put in it. However, sometimes it’s the volume of something that can cause major problems. For example, the eggshells from two eggs is easily processed. But drop in the shells from a dozen eggs at the same time and you’ll be pulling all kinds of pipes to unclog the system. Other times what you put in the disposal is just too difficult to process, such as steak gristle. Put that in the disposal and it will just spin around and never go anywhere.
