#302: Redd Foxx who played the character Fred Sanford on the comedy show Sanford and Son, made famous the line, “Elizabeth, I’m coming to join you, this is the big one!” When he didn’t get his way or when something was said that he didn’t like, Fred would grab his chest, stumble around, and pretend he was having a major heart attack, “This is it, the big one." As husbands there has likely been a time or two when we’ve seriously considered the Fred Sanford way.
