Broadway Week: "Camelot"
As Broadway week continues here on MetroFocus, we have an inside look at the latest adaptation of one of the most iconic musicals to ever grace the stage, “Camelot.” The new revival, adapted by Aaron Sorkin, brings a fresh and modern perspective to the classic tale. The show, which can be seen at Lincoln Center Theater, was nominated for 5 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. Joining us tonight are the three leads of “Camelot”: Phillipa Soo, Andrew Burnap, and Jordan Donica.
Inside the Museum of Broadway
The Museum of Broadway, located in Manhattan’s theater district, is a 26,000 square foot, three floor building, honoring Broadway’s rich history, and showcasing props, costumes, and other memorabilia from countless Broadway shows. The museum teamed up with internationally renowned artists, designers, and theatre historians to create an interactive experience that highlights groundbreaking moments in Broadway’s history - the moments that pushed creative boundaries, challenged social norms, and paved the way for those who would follow.
