- Self-care isn't typically about treats or pampering.
- Self-care and selfishness.
- Self-care isn't a list of behaviors; what constitutes self-care depends on the situation.
- Self-care involves a lot of the self-talk, not just the external things that other people see.
- Self-care isn't just by yourself, it's often social interactions and connections.
- It isn't a one and done situation.
- Others' understanding of what is self care for me- having to defend/explain that something is self care.
