Tabla player extraordinaire Zakir Hussain has been playing since the seventies with people like John McLaughlin, the group Shakty, many jazz musicians and traditional Indian musicians. Zakir will be playing in Auckland on 29 June with Kala Ramnath and Jayanthi Kumaresh.
