Thank you for joining me on this maiden voyage of the My Ministry Mission podcast which is first and foremost dedicated to glorifying God and our savior Jesus Christ, but I also want to share my journey learning what it means to be a disciple of Christ and growing into this new life.
I am what a lot of you might call a “baby Christian” as of this episode, I’ve only been saved for 2 years. I spent the first (we’ll say) 40-ish years of my life struggling with my beliefs and searching for something bigger than me. God was right there yet I rejected him over and over again until one day I finally heard the Holy Spirit speak to me and … well, I finally opened the door.
As I begin this first episode, I look forward to this new season of my life reflecting on where I used to be compared to where I am now, and going from where I am today to where God wants me to be tomorrow. If you are a believer, I hope some of the topics, scriptures, stories, testimonies, etc. that I bring to you through this podcast find their way into your heart and fill you with at least a little more of God’s hope, God’s love, Faith, and maybe a little knowledge or something to ponder.
If you are not quite a believer yet, that’s okay … I was where you are, and I’m telling you … it’s better on this side, but no pressure. Just listen, be a skeptic, because the most devout Christians were once strong unbelievers.
