- Cutaneous Respiration: “Skin breathing.” This is when oxygen is absorbed (taken in) through the skin instead of through lungs or gills.
- Toad: An amphibian with thick, bumpy skin that spends the majority of time on land and crawls.
- Frog: An amphibian with thin, sleek skin that spends much of its time in the water and uses a jumping motion to get around.
