On this episode Jason does his first throwback episode. We as nerds have so much to be excited about nowadays, but there was a time when that was not the case. The throwback episodes will take a look at a specific year and ask the question, what would we be talking about as nerds in a that year. This episode takes us all the way back to the year 2000. Jason examines the ultimate universe launch from Marvel Comics. He also talks about the start of the super hero film renaissance with X-Men. Continuing the Batman Beyond tv show was the straight to video release Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Whether you were a Nintendo kid or a Playstation kid 2000 gave us the amazing release of Perfect Dark and Final Fantasy IX respectively.
