Description

Are you feeling run down? Burned out? Stressed? It's time for some self-care! Clinicians are notorious for putting themselves last, but we need to take care of ourselves if we want to be effective in our work.

In this week’s episode of High-Performance Nursing, I have a fascinating conversation with Diana Page, a burnout survivor turned burnout educator, Nurse/NP mentor, Neurology NP, self-care strategist, and mom of two toddlers.

According to Diana, we need to think of self-care as an investment, not an expense. When we take care of ourselves, we are able to show up better for our patients, our families, and our communities.

This is such an important topic, and I'm so glad Diana came on the show to share her wisdom. So, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea, find a comfortable spot, and enjoy the show.
