Patrick Pihana Branco was the State Representative for Hawaiʻi House District 50 (Kailua and Kāne‘ohe Bay) from 2020 to 2022. He was born and raised in Kailua, and spent his summers at his great-great grandfather’s small farm in Kurtistown on Hawaiʻi island. Branco served as a U.S. diplomat for seven years including assignments in Pakistan, Colombia and Venezuela. Domestically, he worked in the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan and the Secretary of State's Operations Center.
