Race Coverage:

Le Samyn Women’s

At 20k Chantal Blaak was solo (60k solo of the 90k course) with a 2 minute advantage over the peloton and a minute over the chasing group. Chase group of 5 attacks each other in last 2k but unable to drop any riders, sprint for the finish

Le Samyn Men’s

DQS is looking for a 3rd win in a row at this race. Rain starts coming down during the Men’s race. Flat for Coquard and Terpstra but got back into the group. Group splits in half around 38k, Ballerini goes off solo. 4 man group breaks 30k , comes back together. Attack at 22k. 1st that looks like it may stick is an 11k group of maybe 14 riders. Reduced bunch comes in and Hugo Hoffstter takes the sprint win.

Takeaways - Nizzolo is there in the group but just didn’t have it in the end, has looked strong all season though. Surprising non-win from DQS, did a lot of work and had a strong team. Israel startup looking good as a new team, 3 wins so far
