God is sovereign over all things, including us! We’re taking a few moments to recognize that today and then praying through Paul’s description of what it takes to”win” at this Christian life.

It is to say that his lordship over creation means that there is nothing out of his control, nothing that God hasn’t foreseen and planned...It means that every creature on earth, in heaven and in hell must ultimately bow the knee and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” - A.
