Every day, we rely on our senses to finish tasks, move away from danger, and general survival. This is known as Sensory Processing. However, what occurs when our senses are not operating as they should? What impact does this have on the behaviour and academic achievement of students? As we explore each sense over the next few weeks, we will address all of these challenges along with recommendations in our Sensory Processing Disorder series.
