We follow Sayid on his (short-lived) mission to map the island, and encounter the reclusive "French woman" who is alive and not-all-that-well-really. A powerful follow up to last week's morality play, "Solitary" is a banger of an episode that offers moving character moments, a surprisingly funny B-plot, and tantalizing hints at the island's secrets.
