- It can be especially challenging for people who are wired for growth, fixing things, growing businesses, and reaching out for their goals.

- To check ourselves, we need the support of real friends who will call us out when we’re working too much or going too far.
- We need relationships with real friends who are reliable and genuinely care for us to tell us the truth.
- Mentors: People who are willing to teach you or disciple you with the truth. They should also have a background of the situation or circumstances we face.
- Having personal time to listen to the Holy Spirit may also help us in this challenging journey.

- In life, it is either humble yourself or be humbled.
- Tim had several business ventures in real estate, marketing, and coaching. They've also been living a lavish lifestyle. Like many people, he was not prepared for what the Great Recession caused.
- They lost their real estate business, their businesses found foreclosure, and they got evicted from their home.
