Shalet finished at Lansing Community College and is now about to graduate from Sienna Heights University with her bachelor's. Shalet explains how she navigated losing both her grandparents and succumbing to an injury while still being a supportive mother to her daughter. Shalet talks about the power of reflection and the use of religion to uplift and overcome.
