Description

Show Summary: “Keep your T-CLOCS in check for raw, unadulterated power every time.”
**This episode was aired and recorded live in September 2020.**
Whether you’re a regular or seasonal rider, you need to perform routinary check-ups of your bike. For this episode, we’ve prepared a fail-proof checklist that you can use anytime and at all times.

T - Tires and wheels. Go over each tire and see if there are cracks. Correct the tire pressure. Align the wheel bearings.

C - Controls. The controls allow you to ‘communicate’ with your bike. Examine the handlebar, cable, throttle, pedals, brake levels, clutch, and brake hoses.

L - Lights and electrics. Charge your battery. Lights and turn signals must be functioning. Do a general visual inspection of your wiring harness to know if there are breaks in the connections.

O - Oils and fluids. Ensure correct oil levels. Your bike is equipped with side glasses where you can view the current status of oils and fluids. Make sure there are no leaks anywhere. For the gas, fill up the tank before the warning light goes off.

C - Chassis. Investigate if the suspension is secured. Clean and lubricate your bike chain. Tighten the fasteners that hold the chassis together.

S - Stands. Inspect the spring movement. Look for damages or dents. Don’t ride your bike when the stands are in position.

Join Nani and Bimbo as they go over essential tips and tricks on how to maintain your bike’s peak performance. Spread the knowledge and share this episode with your family and friends in the riding community.

Why are KTM motorcycles more expensive than other bikes?

1:05:10 Nani

It’s not the price that matters. It’s the premium value and technology that you get for shelling out more. KTM motorcycles are light heavyweights. You can expect unrivaled engine technology, brake system, electricals, fuel injection, and other materials.

Does the rider’s height matter when riding Dukes?

1:08:07 Nani & Bimbo

The rider’s height will not be an issue. Dukes are lightweight and suitable for any rider. Lowering kits are also available if you want to further reduce from the original height of your bike.

What does KTM stand for?

1:07:21 Bimbo

The first two letters are Kronreif and Trunkenpolz, which are the names of the founders of KTM. M stands for Mattighofen, Austria, where the motorcycles are originally produced.
