Captain John Coufal is the owner of Hana Pa’a (“Fish On”) Adventures in Weekie Wachee, Florida. An Army vet, John fell in love with saltwater fishing when he was stationed in Hawaii, and he still has blue water running strong in his veins. John loves taking his guests out for an awesome day of fishing, diving, or scalloping. In addition, John is also starting a non-profit organization to help fellow veterans and their families get out for some much deserved R&R and saltwater therapy. And did I mention he knows how to catch cobia?

Capt. John grew up freshwater fishing in Kansas. When his Army career took him to Hawaii, he took to the blue water and got the saltwater fever. Now retired from the Army, John fishes (and dives) for everything the Gulf of Mexico has to offer, including grouper, sharks, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, and scallops. Oh, and did I mention cobia?
