Hunter Goodrich is an engineering student at Auburn University, and an all-around talented young man. He combined his love for exploring with his mechanical skills and has created a whole fleet of jet jons. That’s right, jon boats with water jet engines to power them. It’s the perfect water craft for exploring the fresh water rivers and salt water flats around Central Florida. Yet, Hunter’s talents go beyond building boats – he is one heck of an angler too. In this episode, Hunter has his hands full with the fight of his lifetime, and a big tarpon that did not go quietly into the night …
Growing up in the Central Florida area, Hunter is a seasoned angler in both fresh and salt water. Having fished everywhere from freshwater lakes and streams to saltwater lagoons and the ocean, Hunter is well acquainted with many of the fish Florida has to offer.
