Description

In this episode, I’m dismantling the myth that I’m “fearless.” I’m not. I’m anxious, overthinking, sweating, spiraling — and I still do the thing anyway. I share the story of moving to the Cayman Islands while my face was literally swelling shut from stress, and why that moment taught me the truth: courage isn’t calm. Courage is action inside chaos.

You’ll hear how every big chapter of my life — sobriety, starting my business, naming abuse, going no-contact, moving across the world — terrified me. None of it came from confidence. It came from doing it scared because the impact mattered more than the fear.

I talk about the women whose stories saved me, why I chose to become that woman for someone else, and how my storytelling has helped people leave abusive marriages, get sober, break cycles, and choose themselves — not because I’m fearless, but because I refuse to let fear win.

I also break down why you can’t compare your Year 1 to my Year 12, and what actually builds bravery over time: nervous system regulation, self-trust, boundaries, community, and taking one small risk at a time.

If you’ve been waiting to feel “ready,” this episode will remind you:

Fearlessness is a myth — bravery is a practice.

Doing it scared isn’t the exception. It’s the path.
