Description

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with author, motivational speaker, and co-founder of https://www.theideacollective.org/ (The Idea Collective), Jake Heilbrunn. Jake is the author of an Amazon best-seller, Off the Beaten Trail, and has hit the TEDx Talks stage as a speaker, but before reaching all of these achievements, Jake had to pave his way through a rocky and bumpy road. Struggling from anxiety and depression, Jake took a leap of faith and sought out his true purpose.
Let’s dive right in and listen to Jake’s story of how you can replace anxiety with purpose.

Tweetable Quotes:
“I think there’s a beauty of being naive and the beauty of just having a vision that pulls you. Because I think if anyone in any endeavor ... knew all the things that go into starting something they probably wouldn’t start.” – Jake Heilbrunn
“I’m a believer that if we don’t constantly choose a reason for why it’s happening, then life is just living, and we have to consciously choose the future we wanted and create meaning out of life.” – Jake Heilbrunn
