Description

In Buddhist tradition, the middle way, or the middle path, is the way of moderations between the two extremes of indulgence and self denial. It is said that this is the way to peace and liberation.

The middle way gives vison and knowledge and leads to calm, to insight, to enlightenment and to nirvana.

So, what does this mean for us in our day to day lives? And, most importantly, what does it mean for you?

Are there areas of your life where there are extremes in your thinking, your attitude, your emotions, your behaviour?

Do you go so hard core into one thing or one area, that you neglect other areas or responsibilities?

Do you let your emotions take over without thinking?

What is the cost to seeing things as "this or that", rather than "and & and"?

For example, what would the middle way look like for you in your life if you could:

- know your priorities & non-negotiables AND be selfless

- be disciplined AND flexible

- can eat what you like AND choose not to

- be rational in your thinking AND in tune with your emotions

- follow your dreams AND stay grounded

Listen in to this episode to reflect on what the middle way means for you in your life.
