On Memorial Day, President Trump set his sights on North Carolina and the upcoming RNC in Charlotte. President Trump demanded approval from NC Governor Roy Cooper. He threatened to move the RNC if approval was not given. While it’s probably too late to move the convention, President Trump is right that Roy Cooper is playing politics in North Carolina and the RNC.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also spoke out against hydroxychloroquine. This comes just after President Trump announced that he was taking the medication to help in case he contracted the coronavirus. While they argue that it’s because of negative side effects, could it be that the WHO is playing politics with their actions?
China has stirred up issues in Hong Kong again amid continued protests. The latest moves are calling for arrests and for people to face punishment in conjunction with Chinese law, not Hong Kong law. This is a big issue, but it sounds a lot like what’s taking place in the United States.
