It's a common belief that by simply stepping into a church, we are in the presence of God. We hear preachers say all the time that "God is in the house!" However, just because we say God is there, does not guarantee that He is actually there. Bad attitudes, unforgiveness, and even the religious teachings that have been passed down through generations can create a barrier that keeps God at a distance.
