Forrest Barcus is a Northern Californian who joined the Army after graduating in 2006. He was stationed in Europe and later deployed to Afghanistan under 101st Bastogne. After leaving the Army in 2011, he started his own business ventures and has been traveling since then. He is married to Shelby Barcus and has a daughter named Bodhi. He is also a co-founder of the Belfry Signal with Matthew Lewis.
