Senator Jackie Rosen (D-NV) has joined President Trump in supporting an end to penny production by the U.S. Treasury, citing its cost—2.5 times its actual value.
Legal experts are questioning why federal courts are blocking some of the administration’s efforts to audit government departments and reduce non-essential federal employees. Many argue that President Trump is well within his authority to take such actions within the agencies under his control.
