Join The Professor, Ron Johnson (Virginia Commonwealth University) for our ninth episode of season 2. Joining him is Jaraz Jenkins, an artist and musician based in Richmond, VA and graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Jaraz has channeled the struggles he has faced in life to become one of Richmond's hottest up and coming artists. He is using his voice and his talent to mentor youth, help seniors, while he find his style and feel as a professional artist.
In this week's podcast Ron & Jaraz will discuss Jaraz's life, the hardship growing up in an under-served community, the family tragedies, and how this all combined to make him the artist he is today. Jaraz is a strong willed, dedicated artist, and together with The Abstract Athlete and Subterracon Films, we will be telling the story of his life in a short form documentary film.
