Join the art professor, Ron Johnson (Virginia Commonwealth University) for episode sixteen of season four Tracy Akers, a Creative Director who explores her relationship with life and death. Tracy is an artist who heals through self-expression and realizes the self-love that is necessary to feel and to let go of pain from traumatic past experiences. She is an entrepreneur as well as a model, dancer, actor, and poet who began dreaming through her gift of writing and now brings her words off of the page. More than anything else, she values seeing the creative breakthroughs, inclusivity, and healings of humankind. She offers spiritual services as a shamanic healer and philosopher as well as creative direction and management that are often inspired by her inner wisdom gathered through intense life experiences and lessons. She survived osteosarcoma and lives life as an above-knee amputee after devoting much of her identity to athleticism as a former women’s basketball player at the University of Richmond.  Together they will discuss her incredible and traumatic journey about survival and her will and her love for a creative life.

This episode will discuss her her athletic background and how that discipline still feeds her way of making to this day..
