This very special episode of The Biscuit is a new feature that has been put together in partnership with Share, a local charity founded by Jane Mckenzie.
The idea is to use poetry as something positive to help with addiction and mental health issues. This will be a regular thing we are going to be doing and asking people to send in either poetry or music submissions that are relevant to the subject.
For our first session Alex and Julie are joined by Share founder Jane Mckenzie, Emily Wilkinson and Max Brown. Each person bringing something to read. Including some poems that were submitted by Biscuit fans including Ryan Williams, Dave Peate and Clio.
Please get in touch if you would like to submit something to be played or read on the show. Videos of readings or music can be sent in via our Facebook messenger and the audio (only) can be played on the show. We plan to do these shows once a month.
