This episode is almost an investigational piece. As Alex isn't from the rural or farming world and having never attended the County Show, (I know right!?) the mission today is to find out what this show is and what it means to people.
So Alex starts off by speaking to the young farmers of Shropshire, speaking to Mollie from Shropshire Federation of Young Farmers, moving onto Edward from the NFU - National Farmers Union and also the the chief executive of Shropshire & West Midlands Agricultural Society. All in order to find out exactly what this show is all about. So you, the listeners get to find out with this show, everything you need to know about this event.
Then Alex's attention is turned to prize animals, champion bulls and sheep, what's that all about? Well, with some help from some helpful farmers and Gareth (he knows who he is) I can tell you that we solve this mystery right here on the Biscuit and it all made sense in the end.
