In the 14 years the Adam Smith Awards programme has been running, we have presented just one previous Lifetime Achievement Award. This award, recognised by Treasury Today Group, is therefore a pretty rare occurrence. This year we are recognising someone who has made a huge contribution to one of the largest companies in the world. Very many congratulations on this most prestigious accolade.
