Semler, aka Grace Baldridge, is a documentary host and singer/songwriter. She recently put out a record “Preacher’s Kid” which hit the #1 spot on Christian iTunes, and she’s taking Contemporary Christian Music to task. She feels strongly about standing up for what she believes in because the rest of the CCM world tries to skirt around issues of accountability. Christians are not beyond reproach. How can you claim to stand up for what you believe in while being propped up by a platform that believes the exact opposite? Semler believes that this transformation isn’t a flash in the pan — it’s just getting started. She says it best: “Taking accountability and responsibility is a loving and caring thing to do, and we can do better.”
