There are two full moons book-marking each end of August and in between some thrilling aspects and a fortnight when all the planets are in retrograde.  In this episode Venus & Vesta takes us through the key activity.

• A Full Moon in Aquarius happens on the first day of August. All of us are in the middle of a heart-opening Venus retrograde in Leo, so to have a full Moon in Aquarius (Leo’s opposite sign) it should take us out of our navel/heart-gazing and look at the community around us, beyond ourselves into the Aquarian age.
• At the same time, Mars is in Virgo and in trine to Jupiter in Taurus who is making the square to the Full Moon. • Suddenly we get two big whammies of “yes” like in When Harry Met Sally, but to ruin that, on the 13th we have a Venus Cazimi, which is a great day to fall in love, to meet someone and open your heart, or to wake up to what’s really going on in your heart. It’s amazing. This is followed on the 16th by the Leo New Moon which opens the heart for its deepest desires.
• On the 21st August the Yod (the finger of god) pointing at 28’ Leo is activated when the Sun arrives at this point. This is the degree that Venus got to and retrograded back from and is also the degree of the great American eclipse in 2017. Venus is already activated and will return to this point at the end of her retrograde period. This may show us where we’ve been imprisoned to some idea or ideology either personally or on a global scale.
