Summary:
Rebecca shares how in West Africa, ORR works to protect children at risk of trafficking by providing education, feeding programs, and financial support for families through savings and loan initiatives. A powerful example of this impact is an 8-year-old girl rescued from trafficking who overcame abuse, regained her education, and is now pursuing a baking apprenticeship at 19, aspiring to open her own bakery. Forgiveness and faith play a significant role in the healing process, and we are inspired by older children who now want to protect others from trafficking. For 17 years, we have witnessed God’s work in rescuing, redeeming, and restoring lives, reminding us to focus on His ongoing miracles and maintain a sense of awe for His presence in our world.
