Description

We all must deal with our emotions and experiences, but some people do it better than others. Today’s guest knows what it’s like to struggle, scramble, and “hide in plain sight.”  Fortunately, she emerged from the darkness through deep healing and transformation, and she’s devoted to helping others find their way out by being brave and stepping outside the shadow of their own fear. Join us to learn more!

My guest is Iona Holloway, the founder of Soul Breathwork and the best-selling author of Ghost: Why Perfect Women Shrink. Iona’s work is rooted in her experiences as a highly functioning, invisibly struggling woman and her unconventional recovery from a 20-year battle with an eating disorder and depression. Something she learned on the long road home is: “It’s never too late to remember who you are.” Iona is “tough as old boots but soft like a marshmallow.” Her ZeroFluff breathwork app, intensives, and psychedelic live experiences help you do three things: clear the muck, turn the stone in your chest back into a beating heart, and burn bright, not out, in your life and work. In today’s conversation, we discuss Iona’s first experience with breathwork as a professional athlete and how breathwork can be used to clear up past traumas and learn timeline jumping. Iona also shares her insights into experimentation and content creation and her thoughts about the writing process and self-publishing a book.
