Graeme Welsh joined me in the Studio this week to talk about his unique fusion of Judo and Brazilian JiuJitsu.
Graeme is a hugely Experienced old School Judoka, with multiple International Gold Medals and Podium finishes to his name as well as being a very well respected long time Instructor on the British Judo Scene. He has run WGCJudo for the last 30 years and now boasts a number of Brazilian JiuJitsu Blackbelts among the regulars on his his mat.
Graeme has a unique grinding pressure based style which can often shut down the fluid flamboyant modern JiuJitsu game as well as an intimidating stand up game, and we discussed this as well as his International competition wins, trips to Japan, Arm Wrestling in Australia and nearly getting Killed in a Scottish Pub...
