Today’s quote is from Wolfgang Von Goethe, and it is, “We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves; otherwise we harden.”
Change is hard, but change is also required. Each new day and every new experience change us in some manner. The question is, are you allowing these changes to expand your horizons, to help you grow and flourish? If not, then these changes are causing you to build an ever stronger wall around you which will eventually entrap you. Change will either grow us, or shrink us, but change will always impact us. Let us throw off the shackles that so easily bind us and hold us back so we can become all that we can be in our fulfillment of our God-given potential.
As we are told in Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
