All of us like new beginnings. A time to strip off the old and put on the new. A time when we can cast off the past and begin with a clean slate. We can learn from the past, and our past does determine our starting point for today. But it does not control our future.
We need to strip off the shackles of yesterday, and press forward to new tomorrows. Anyone can do this, regardless of your past. First, you must determine in your mind, then take action to make it happen. Strip off the clothing of worry, doubt, and fear, and put on the new garments of love, kindness, peace, and gratitude.
