Joe, a college student, texted Professor Wellborn early one morning and stated that he could not take his seminar final exam that day because of a funeral.
Professor Wellborn texted him back and told Joe that it would not be a problem and that he could make it up the following week.
That week came, and again, Joe texted Professor Wellborn and explained that he couldn’t take the test that day either, due to another funeral.
Professor Wellborn, being a little irritated, but feeling sorry for Joe texted him back once again and said, “You’ll have to take the test early next week, I can’t keep postponing it.”
Joe replies back thanking Professor Wellborn and also said, “I’ll take the test next week if no one dies.”
